The studio is operational!

At the moment (given our amount of space) we can supply people with “One instrument at a time” recording. That’s how we’ve always done it. If that doesn’t work for you, we do plan on re-locating early next year to a larger space, but the equipment is all here and the recordings sound INCREDIBLE! We’re very happy with this.

The studio is almost ready!

We at Thunder Stump have been talking for a while about getting a studio together, and now, with a couple of days poking and prodding at the equipment, I think we’ll have the sound just perfect. We’ve already cloned the sound of our last album and everything sounds good, but we don’t leave things at good…there’s this little word we like to associate ourselves with called “AWESOME!”

So more updates are coming soon! Keep an eye out.

We are 100% bookable again!

Long story short, new guy didn’t work, looking for different new guy.

Until then, We’re back to playing regular shows. We’ll phase in a new person on our own time outside of gigs.

I’m also going to be taking a little vacation to North and South California, where I plan to unleash an incredible advertising tactic. We’ll see if something comes of that.

Anyway… WOOHOOO, we’re back!

Huge update!

After our upcoming show, Thunder Stump will be taking a long break from playing live shows.

We need to take this break to do the following:

*Move they keytarist to Bass guitar

*Teach the new Keytarist how to play our stuff

*Consider our sound and write new stuff for the next album

*Give our music time to spread so we can play to larger audiences.

*Work out the constant technical difficulties with our equipment.

It could take a couple of months, maybe a year and possibly more.

By the end of it however, we plan to look and sound 10 times as good and have a brand new style and image. Thunder Stump WILL change a little in the next album, but for the better.

We encourage all of our fans to continue spreading our music and getting our name out there.

Thank you all for supporting us! We’ll let you know when we’re finished with the new adjustments.

After talking with the band again, it looks like we will be available for booking to some degree, just less of it. If you hire us and can assure payment, we can’t refuse such gigs ;)

The new shipment of CD’s has FINALLY arrived.
Get them at our shows or email us about shipping options…. I don’t know if those exist right now, but we’ll get right on that.

One of these pictures shows what it’s like to take a picture of the Protomen from within a mosh pit.

MOST AMAZING GIG EVER!

Like we said, we opened for the Protomen. We weren’t expecting “our” band to have a gigantic crowd, but we DID! The turnout was impressive. Biggest crowd we’ve ever played for, and appreciative at that. Lots of applause too. We love our fans!

Sold a bunch of discs and got the place dancing, then we all joined the crowd to see the Protomen. Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to see Malakai, but we could hear them while we were packing up anyway, so.. that worked!

The show was RAD! No other word can describe this evening.

We made a few more fans, talked to the Protomen and were informed that the trunk space wants us back soon!

Now then.. My head is killing me, I need to sleep now.

See you at our next gig!
